Teach your daughter to code using scratch

Scratch is a visual “block” coding language created by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab to help kids learn to code.

Scratch is easy to install and simple to learn.

Here is an example of an advanced Scratch project — Pacman, written in Scratch.

My kids paired Makey Makey with Scratch and created various gaming interfaces.

It looks like you can also combine everything with with Raspberry Pi and avoid the separate traditional computer altogether.
